Through our engagement and work with citizens, we have come to realize that there is widespread confusion regarding the distinction between mitigation and adaptation actions when it comes to addressing climate change. Many people tend to mix up these two concepts, which can create challenges in fully understanding how different strategies contribute to the broader fight against climate change.
To address this confusion and improve public understanding, we created an infographic that clearly delineates the difference between these two vital concepts. The infographic has been designed as a user-friendly tool that visually explains how both adaptation and mitigation contribute to a comprehensive approach to combating climate change.
