Join the Urban Forum #UF23: Europe’s leading event to make cities sustainable, taking place from June 21-23, 2023, in Stuttgart, Germany.
UF23 brings together experts, politicians, entrepreneurs, and leaders who are passionate about creating sustainable cities. With thousands of CityChangers from around the world, this conference is a hub for sharing transformational ideas and experiences, shaping the future of our cities. The event will have eight tracks, covering crucial topics such as cutting emissions, fixing mobility, innovation, decarbonizing the built environment, reinventing city centers and districts, citizen engagement, skills for CityChangers, and leadership.
This year’s issue of #UF23 will feature 250+ speakers from 4 continents and 125+ mayors, more than 75 sessions, 20+ side events and is expected to have more than 2500 attendees.
One of the REGILIENCE partners – ICLEI Europe will also play an active role in various sessions, contributing expertise on topics such as energy poverty, urban greening, and sustainable mobility. Vice Mayor Chantal Zeegers from ICLEI Member Rotterdam will deliver a speech on “Race to Zero: Cities’ carbon emission strategies” highlighting the role of local governments in achieving net-zero emissions. ICLEI Europe will also lead and moderate a session on tackling the energy crisis, drawing on project experiences to address energy poverty. Additionally, a workshop by ICLEI Europe Senior Officer Alis Daniela Torres will provide insights on securing European funding for climate projects.
